Jose Marti Alumni Association New York, Inc. (JMAANY) was founded in 2015. JMAANY’s mission is to assist talented students at Jose Marti Technical High School in Jamaica to achieve quality education while excelling academically, in sports, and extra-curricular activities.

Get ready to commemorate a momentous occasion! The Jose Marti Technical High School in Jamaica is eagerly anticipating its 50th anniversary. The weeklong celebration will kick off on Friday, January 9th, 2027, with a warm "Meet and Greet", followed by a solemn "Church Service" on Sunday, and a series of engaging activities throughout the week. The grand finale will be an unforgettable "Banquet" on Saturday, January 16th.
This golden jubilee signifies fifty years of dedication to providing outstanding education, fostering innovation, and building a strong community. Alumni, current students, faculty, and the broader community are all invited to partake in the festivities, which will feature a range of captivating events, from cultural displays to academic showcases. It's a time to reflect on the school's illustrious history, celebrate its accomplishments, and eagerly anticipate the promising future ahead. This is an unmissable opportunity to reconnect, reminisce, and revel in the joyous occasion! 🎉📚🎓
In a show of unity and benevolence, past students of Jose Marti Technical High School on Monday presented several awards and more than $1.3 million in scholarships and grants to students, employees and departments at the institution on the outskirts of Spanish Town, St. Catherine.
The contribution, made despite challenges resulting from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, is part of the year-long celebration of the school’s 45th anniversary.
Acting principal, Michelle Bogle, commended past students across the world for what she described as their unwavering interest in the school and its students.
“Even in this our worst of times with this pandemic, you have found it in your hearts to draw closer together and to give… Let us continue to give love and be our brothers and sisters’ keepers, and I pray that we will emerge from this crisis wiser, kinder and even stronger,” she said during an awards ceremony at the school.
